Stepping into my first yoga class at age 17, innocent and naive, little did I know it would take me on a journey that would become my life’s work. Since age 18, I have been actively studying and immersing myself in various wellness modalities, leading me to complete a B.A. in Holistic Health & Wellness in New York.
But it didn’t stop there! Alongside my university studies, I continued to train in various disciplines through courses, trainings and workshops. For yoga, I am a 500 hour certified yoga teacher, trained in Alignment and Restorative Yoga. For fitness, I am certified a pilates instructor, personal trainer and for nutrition, I am a holistic health coach certified by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
After a decade of struggling in my childhood years with inadequacy, doubt, extreme shyness and lack of confidence, I didn’t think there was a place in the world for a quiet, shy, little voice like mine. With a personality that embodies so much softness and grace, I was taught it was too soft for the world to handle.
Additionally, in my late teens and early 20s, I went through many ups and downs with finding the right balance of wellness for my routine. Nothing just sat right, and I didn’t feel myself. From not having a physical movement routine at all, to overtraining, overexercising and undereating, I’ve been at both ends of the extreme and know how it feels to struggle with finding your wellness balance.
Now at 23 years old, I’ve successfully defined what healthy means to me. I know how healthy feels to me, and I know the routines and rituals that make me function at my best. Having this set in place, I’ve found a place of contentment and love with all the things I previously struggled with.
Health challenges are real, they’re personal, they’re individual. They take time, patience and a vision. I know this, and I’m with you wherever you’re at. Whenever you’re ready for a change, whenever you have that vision to become you’re healthiest, most alive version of yourself, I’m all here for you.
